CalPERS Covers Chiropractic Therapy
CalPERS (California Public Employees' Retirement System) has implemented health benefits, effective January 1, 2015, to include chiropractic services. Several years ago CalPERS employees and their dependents had coverage for services when they visited their chiropractor. Those visits were taken away with the implementation the furloughs and budget cuts due to the economic down turns.
All plans (Kaiser, Anthem Blue Cross, etc.) that did not cover chiropractic, now cover 20 visits per year with a co-pay, which is usually $15, depending on the plan. Some of these plans may also cover massage and acupuncture services.
No referral is necessary for access to a chiropractor.
Our office has seen CalPERS employees and dependents over the past several years and will continue to provide top notch care. We appreciate the service of our California work force that includes City of Roseville employees and dependents and others.
If we can be of service to you or your family. Call our office at your convenience. We are open 6 days per week to serve you.
