Will Chiropractic Care Help me?

I've had many patients or prospective patients call me and ask me if I treat this condition or can chiropractic treatment be helpful for this condition. While it is hard to cover every condition that we treat we can cover some basic ideas in order to help you know.

Spinal Experts

Chiropractors are expert of the spine. That means if you are having issues with the muscles, joints, ligaments, or nerves in the neck and back we can help you! This can also manifest as pain in the hips, arms, shoulders, and even in the legs. When there is pressure on the joints in your spine in can radiate pain into your upper and lower extremities. We can check to make sure your joints are moving, and your muscles are working like they are supposed to. We deal with sciatica issues and pinched nerves every day. 

What if I'm not having pain in my neck or spine?

When you have pressure put on your body from sports, work, or from an accident there may be additional joints and muscle outside of the spine that may need to be addressed. We can check out other joints and muscles in your body including your TMJ (jaw), shoulder, elbow, wrists, thumbs, hips, knees, ankles, and feet. Not all joints of the body are built the same, but we have been trained to know what normal joint movement is and more importantly what abnormal joint movement looks like. We have also been trained to check the muscles around the extremity joints to make sure they are working as intended.

Is there anything else you can help with?

As chiropractors we specialize in nueromuscular injuries. This means if there is involvement from nerves, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and bones we can assess to see if adjustments, exercises, stretches, electrical muscle stimulation, therapuetic ultrasound, massage, etc. are a good fit for you.

Along with treating injuries we can also perform physicals to assess overall well-being. This can be for sports physicals or even DOT driver physicals for commercial drivers and non-commercial drivers.

We know chiropractic care can help a lot of people, but we also know we can't help everyone. We work with other doctors and specialists in the area to make sure that you can the correct treatment to help you live a happy, healthy, and pain-free life.
